Is this thing accurate?

I honestly have stopped caring for where the elites might spawn once I hit lvl 50 and had around 6k hp unbuffed. And some runs I seem to only get one or two, while other times I've had 5-6 and the purple one pop.

I'm really not sure if that is accurate or not. It has always seemed pretty random to me, but then again my only goal was to get through as fast as I could. Now I just do it for pots and the possible purple elite thingy. I'll try and pay more attention next time I go in there. I make no promises though lol
